Todd Herrington

In 1995, he and his band were shipped into a refugee camp in Guantanamo Bay for 3 days to play for the Cuban refugees on a makeshift wooden stage raised especially for the occasion.

Todd Herrington - by Dave KlemencicRecently, Todd placed 2nd in Virginia’s annual bass “Thump-Off” competition. The competition featured a two minute solo period followed by an improvisational “rhythm session” with a drummer in front of a live audience. Todd offers a wide and varied range of musical experience and has become a much sought after sideman.

He is also handy with the guitar, drums, keyboard, and harmonica. Having reached his ten-year mark as a bass player, Todd shows no signs of slowing, and brings a unique blend of enthusiasm and experience into his work. In his own words, “It has to groove, plain and simple.”
