I just wanted to mention, I was watching some morning TV over here in Tokyo, and a little surprised when I heard an MGS track being played! I've seen you all play several times at Cary Street Cafe. I think you guys play great! I've been attending the Montreal Jazz Festival for several years I really think that the band would be a great addition to the line-up of concerts that the Jazz Festival puts on. I also think it would be great for the band to get the kind of international exposure that performing at the Festival would provide. Fifty thousand people a day attend the 10 day festival from all over the world. The exposure for the band would be enormous. Here's a link for you to contact the Festival people for you to perhaps get a spot in the 2009 festival line-up. The 2009 festival is going to be a big one because it's the 30th anniversary of the festival. The festival happens every year starting in the third week of June. It may seem a little early for you folks to contact the festival but keep in mind that they start immediately planning the festival. I think it would also be good for the band to be there because it would open you up to jazz, in all forms, from all over the world and it would serve to broaden your musical horizons. Good Luck!
